Commercial nursery G. Hoogenraad bv In 1965 this nursery established by Gerrit Hoogenraad Sr. At its current location: Rijksweg 30 in Ederveen. Together with his sons Gerrit Jr. and Sebastiaan Hoogenraad he runs this nursery

On a 7 ha. Fully-grown nursery, where produce each year more than 3 million plants and have 10 permanent employees working.In the season this runs up to 40 people.

We have much experience with plants from tissue culture. They are usually difficult to make, breeds of Rhododendron, Betula, Seringa, Magnolia and Cotinus. Advantages of the tissue is a better branching and uniformity.

The larger part of our plants are going almost all exclusively in the commercial circuit.

In total, the cultivated range is around 800 different types of woody plants.

Production takes place both inside and outside, everything is environmentally friendly as possible grown and delivered.

All plants are standing on anti- root foil, the entire nursery is built like so, all the water is going to drain points so we can use all excess water a extra time.

Chemical control is the last two years significantly reduced by fully use of biological resources.
